Mrs. McNosh and the great big squash / by Sarah Weeks ; pictures by Nadine Bernard Westcott.
Mrs. Nelly McNosh plants a squash seed and gets more than she bargained for! As you might have already guessed, this is a fun rhyming book about Mrs. McNosh’s squash that gets a little out of hand. As soon as she plants the seed in her garden, it starts to grow and quickly becomes so big that she’s not quite sure what to do with it. She does come up with a silly solution though that both her and her dog enjoy.
