Summary:

Located in middle east Tennessee, Hamblen County was established in 1870 from parts of Grainger, Jefferson and Hawkins County. The records were collected from 24 different family, public and church cemeteries. The records consist of the information found on the various tombstones as they were observed in 1938. One of the values of this record is that many of these stones and graves have been destroyed, moved or just missing today. - from the publisher.
